Amherst Area consist of many troop starting from Daisy to Senior Girl Scouts. These scouts and their familys all have different needs. This website is to let everyone know what is going on in your area and also to have one place for everyone to get information from. Please feel free contact me and let me know of any information you would like on the website.

 Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes, Inc. is a not-for-profit, charitable organization offering programming that teaches life skills to girls ages 5 - 17. These valuable life skills are based on the Four Program Goals of Girl Scouts of the USA.

Registration

There are wonderful things Girl Scouts offer to girls during the school year and summer.   There are events that go all year long and we have several troops that would love to add another girl. It is never to late to register your girl. There are troops that would love to take the girls. If you are interested please either  email or fill out this registration on-line form so that I can get you the correct paperwork.

Volunteers
I am in need of interested parents that would be willing to help with troops, area events, and misc. stuff.  It can be from a single time help to one hour a month to one hour a week.  You chose how you volunteer. If you are interested in helping please email or fill out the online interest form.  We are currently in need of at least a 1st grade Daisy leader, and a 3rd grade Brownie Leader. I will provide training, paperwork and all the assistance you need to run the troop with only a few hours a month.
